I'm settling into my new life in Dubai. Finding 'my places', meeting new people and generally excited about the future here. My dear Andy is commuting back and forth from Munich still. I was just texting Maja, my bestie in London, and thanking her for the 1% rule she told be about. Basically, do at least 1% of something each day, rather than nothing. It helps me so much with get things done and staying on track. Even me, the #likeachallenge pro, sometimes has days off. To be

I appreciate the fact that I get some time to myself while travelling for work. I can focus on new projects, properly sit down and think, without any distractions. Day to day, when you got family, friends, bf non stop around you (to be clear, I love being around them) , I just can't progress as fast. Also I love working on flights, minus the internet and scrolling Insta. I'm learning every day how to avoid procrastination. Happens to the best. The 1%/ 5min rule generally help

Living life from one suitcase is a quiet rebellion against clutter, constant need to buy things and the traditional idea that happiness needs square footage. When everything I own fits behind a zipper, my day feels lighter (literally and metaphorically;). I don’t waste time choosing between versions myself hanging in a closet, I simply get dressed and go. To be clear, I still have beautiful pieces in my one bag. Chosen, special, good quality, yet practical. So my style game i

Taking a week off in Sardinia together with friends of Andy. Beautiful home right by the beach. Sunshine, boats, fresh breeze, blue waters. Sardinia is a true gem in Europe. Honestly, the waters are Carribean-like and it's just a couple of hours away from London or Munich. Random relationship advice: food and eating is what keeps a couple together, and of course similar values and expectations in life. But above all, loving good food and eating. The rest is negotiable.

I wished I showed my parents some more love when I was younger. On the bright side, least I've realised how special they are early enough to make up for it and cherish every moment together. The little and big things. They defo weren't perfect, possibly made a few mistakes - or simply I would have approached things differently (and i do) - but there's so many cool things about them! I always text them that I've landed or just about to depart. That is special. I've been worki

A few days full of joyful celebrations and lots of coffee. I attended my goddaughter communion. We see each other quite rarely otherwise (Zosia the little one and her mum Agata, my primary school friend). That's the sad reality of living full-time abroad. I don't think I've been the most consistent of friends in this case, but it does get tough keeping in touch regulary with everyone spread across the globe. Daily life also gets in the way and you somehow naturally grow close

NEW CHALLENGE: HOW TO MOVE TO DUBAI AND SET UP A COMPANY.
I reached a point in life where I need a new base, somewhere I can really focus on business and actually grow it. I’ve been in the UK for about 16 years (not counting my school years), and I still have a soft spot for it, but I need a fresh boost of energy. And, let’s be honest: more sunshine. A lot more. The UAE is getting a lot of attention lately for it's business friendly environment, Funny enough, I actually was brought up there (yup, I came to Dubai way before everyone

#THROWBACKTHURSDAY REAL MADRID AT SANTIAGO BERNABEU
#ThrowbackThursday You know how much I enjoy visiting football stadiums (and opera houses;), don't you? I thought you'd like to see a few vintage photos from my first visit ever to a stadium and live football match: it was a Champions league game at Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid back in 2003 (!). I still vividly remember that Real won 4:2 against Olympique Marseille. I was there with my parents, and with Ronaldo, Zidane, Beckham playing on the field. Feels very special now, exa

30.09.2021 BARCELONA HIGHLIGHTS
Barcelona is one of my fave European get away cities. I love the beach vibes, city center full of energy, great for leisurely biking and also working as a digital nomad. Here are a few highlights from my September 2021 trip in this cool place!

12.04.2019 SPRING SKATING
I've had 8 lessons since the start of the year. It might not seem like much BUT I’m very consistent doing it every fortnight. Let’s not forget how much time I spend in the edit with the history series I’m working on. I go to the ice rink every other Wednesday and do a one to one 30min lesson with my coach. After that I stay on to train on my own. It’s an adult session with not that many people around usually, recommend it if you want to practise without bumping into kids ;-)

02.10.2018 MY ICE SKATING COUTURE
I’ve certainly had a lot of fun with my ice skating outfits during the pirouette challenge. There’s been some funky sparkling berets, long taffeta skirts and polka dot dresses. I took a lot of inspiration from old photos: back in the days people used to merrily skate in Royal Ascot hats, fur coats and Oscar gowns. I didn’t quite reach that level, but not far from it. Most of the items come from my local charity shop (God Bless this British institution) and flee markets. Day

DRIVING AROUND: HUMBLE BEGININGS
Just a few photos from my very first time in a proper rally car. This was over a year ago, around January 2017. The moment I put the helmet on, I just knew…. this is it! I mean, I’ve always loved cars and the adrenaline of speed and the smell of petrol. I’ve been very lucky to drive cars all over the world, while making television shows (nothing to do with proper race or rally driving, but still I've clocked up loads of kms over the years). Funny enough, driving for me is pro

03.11.2017 BLUE FOR DAVID HOCKNEY
#outfitoftheday for the David Hockey exhibition and #throwbackthursday to a sunny May Day in London. I love mixing bright, bold colours with some basics, so expect a lot of 'crazy-casual' on this site. I will openly admit, I used to be a super big fan of Sex and the City, so I tend to wear a lot of things that might seem to grand for the occasion..but then I mix it up with a pair of converse and it's perfect for any time of the day. I came across this bright blue, in-your-

FIRST EVER POST
Hope this first post finds you well. On Friday the 13th. This website was supposed to be up a few months ago and I kept eternally postponing the launch date. Millions of excuses. Though above all, I was completely daunted that I am (yet again) starting from zero and what's even worst, worried that I would fail miserably. Add impatience and a touch perfectionism, and there you have it: a bad attitude that kept me going round in circles, procrastinating about what could be, bu
