Motivation is sometimes hard to find, even on the best of days. You can get distracted by so many things (Your Honor, guilty, I sometimes watch too many reels on TikTok)

I've been a freelancer all my life, so I've learnt how to deal with the low-energy moments, but..it happens. And it's good to be aware when it's actual tiredness vs endless procrastination (a bit of lazy is also normal, brain needs a rest!:)

First off all, better to do 5min of something, than nothing. That 5min will make you feel so much better about yourself (be it gym, work, or anyting else) . If you feel like resting or chilling out...do it, but give something 5min first. That 5min daily can turn into 35min a week ;)

And when you're brain is really going round in circles, plus anxiety kicks in, just sit down, breath (yes, BREATH) and relax. That's when I make extra long time for my close ones, friends and talk to them on Whatsapp or Zoom. Or I go for a walk out in the fresh air (walking helps me so much), take a nice coffee and pastry, read a book. I'm a big fan of reading or listening to music, NO screentime in those moments.

And then slowly ease your way back into doing 5min of any activity. Even 5min will introduce a solid, but soothing consistency to your brain and body.

Thi rule has transformed how I work or how i approach my 'challenges' - I can see the positive effects daily :)
