NEW (UNEXPECTED) CHALLENGE: HOW TO BE A PRESENTER

This is a very unexpected and unplanned challenge. Recently I got asked if i want to be a co-presenter on a 6 part history series. I've directed and produced quite a lot of history stuff over the years, but always standing behind the camera (I've covered a few WW1 and WW2 things, but also ancient Egypt, medieval times and some more recent stories). I genuinely like digging into the past, as it allows me to explore people, different cultures and relationships between countries on a much deeper lever than just casually skimming through a newspaper article or online.
I've directed other presenters, but doing the role in reverse...not sure how I feel about it yet. I do enjoy a certain amount of privacy that you also get as a producer/director, instead of facing the viewers directly (plus turning up in PJs and no makeup). But as I #likeachallenge , I think I'm going to give this a go. The main presenter is a very accomplished historian and TV personality Guy Walters, so a good guide and teacher to have by my side. He would be leading the project, while I'll pop up in places and join him on the road trip (I heard road trip and that definitely swayed me;)
Well, I should start working on my pronunciation (yes, I'm Polish originally, though I've lived in UK for a very long time) and need to read up on WW2 history on... gold. Can't tell you more at this stage ;)
