1 DAY TO MOROCCO
Off to Malaga airport in a few minutes. Excited, but also a bit terrified! I guess that's what challenges are all about..doing something you thought you'd never do. It's been a dream of mine to do an off-road car rally for a loooong time, so no turning back now. And if I ever want to do the Dakar, better start working on my endurance! Even though I feel knackered and I'd rather sleep for a week!!! I barely managed to pack. I've got quite a lot of stuff after a 4 week 'A Plac

2 DAYS TO MOROCCO RALLY
I've just reached Torremolinos near Malaga where I'm staying for the night. I've got the flight to Tangier tomorrow evening, so I'll treat myself to a proper lie in followed by sunbathing on the beach before 10 days of hard work. Below you have the face of someone drinking a mint tea and pondering 'why the hell am I not spending the next week and a half in a SPA'. Started the day googling what kind of dangerous creatures live in Morocco. For that reason alone, I'm kind of gl

3 DAYS TO MOROCCO RALLY
Countdown to Morocco: 3 days to go and I’m uber excited! It’s gonna be my very first time on the African continent. I’ve wrapped on ‘A Place in the Sun’ in Torrevieja and driving towards Granada for the night. I just stopped in Lorca on the way to grab a quick dinner before another 2 hours drive. This amazing hotel and restaurant is called Parador de Lorca and its built on the site of the old Lorca castle ruins: just look at these panoramic views of he town from up here!

DRIVING AROUND: HUMBLE BEGININGS
Just a few photos from my very first time in a proper rally car. This was over a year ago, around January 2017. The moment I put the helmet on, I just knew…. this is it! I mean, I’ve always loved cars and the adrenaline of speed and the smell of petrol. I’ve been very lucky to drive cars all over the world, while making television shows (nothing to do with proper race or rally driving, but still I've clocked up loads of kms over the years). Funny enough, driving for me is pro

03.11.2017 BLUE FOR DAVID HOCKNEY
#outfitoftheday for the David Hockey exhibition and #throwbackthursday to a sunny May Day in London. I love mixing bright, bold colours with some basics, so expect a lot of 'crazy-casual' on this site. I will openly admit, I used to be a super big fan of Sex and the City, so I tend to wear a lot of things that might seem to grand for the occasion..but then I mix it up with a pair of converse and it's perfect for any time of the day. I came across this bright blue, in-your-

MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE: TOUBKAL
I just found out that Jonas, a cameraman who I’ve worked with for years on 'A Place in the sun', used to be a guide for adventure style holidays and he’s climbed the Kilimanjaro 14 times. Once in flip flops. A few drinks in the bar later, he's given me a bunch of ideas for my future challenges and Kilimanjaro is definitely one of them. But I'll start a bit lower than 5895m... My rally around Morocco will be passing through the foothills of the Atlas, so I am reserving a cou

A ROADTRIP AROUND SARDINIA
#ThrowbackThursday to Sardinia, which I visited in June earlier on this year. It's dreamy: seductive beaches with the whitest sand you'll ever see around the Mediterranean and gin-clear waters mixed with a touch of wild hinterland. The perfect place for #nofilter views and a heavenly 7 day road trip in a Fiat 500. As it's the first ever post in the travel section, just a bit about what you can expect here. I love doing road trips, either by car or motorbike, so you'll mostl

MOROCCO ROADTRIP: The Plan, The Route and The Car
It’s end of October in sunny Costa Blanca and the clocks go back tomorrow, which gives me an extra hour of sleep. Or writing. Or people watching. I’m currently at a beachfront café in Costa Blanca shamelessly eavesdropping on people’s conversations. And pondering about all the things I could do with my extra hour. Right, let’s get to the point. The car rally around Morocco is one of the first challenges I’ve planned for this website. I’m a massive petrolhead, so I knew I wa

BEST SPOTS TO VISIT IN COSTA RICA, WEST COAST - Photo Highlights
#ThrowbackThursday to January 2017 and the paradise of Costa Rica. A big tick off the bucket list. And also the place where I first got the idea for this website. This rugged, rainforested Central American country is a real tropical adventure: jungle hikes, surfing, white-water rafting, canopy zip line, you name it. Paradise for challenges. I was there filming for an episode of 'A Place in the Sun', so unfortunately the usual crazy working schedule didn't allow to fit everyt
